Accessibility – Making Inaccessible Spaces Available for All
The Shark Cage Adventure’s setting is only accessible by climbing into the netted cage from a low space in the top of the tank and involves being in surprisingly cold water for around 20 minutes. For this reason, the elderly or infirm, the disabled or claustrophobic could all be unable to visit and pregnant ladies are also not able to take part.
Although this stunning aquarium features a tunnel with a moving walkway that allows visitors to walk under some of the world’s biggest aquarium sharks our video offers an interesting first-hand view of what can be seen during a shark cage adventure at Kelly Tarlton’s.
